ImAUTT (?) CONTEST
Stenner nights, as well as afternoons, are made for beauty
contests, and North of Ft Worth, 10 young candidates, a
large crowd, and judges including WBAP' s Tom Malarkey and
Tarrant Bounty aeriff Evans are on hand for the annual
Miss Casino Beach competition. The winner will take home
a handsome trophy, and will represent the beach at various
functions until the middle of next summer, when a new
winner will be selected. The judges have narrowed the
field to three; 16 year old Selma Woods, 18 year old
Janette Davis, and 17 year old Cynthia Deakins.WINNER WAL S
The title goes to Janette Davis, a senior at Castleberry
Nigh School, and the daughter of Mr and Mrs A.D. Davis,
of 56.28 Taylor Road. Janette, who placed 3rd in a Miss
Posture contest a couple of years ago, says this is the
first contest shets won. Janette and the runnex.up. Selma
Woods, are given trophies by Casino Beach manager Jerry
Starnsa Selma is a photographers model, and Janette, the
winners says she wants to become an airline hostess1220
