Newsmen take advantage of the delay by attending a
briefing on the rocket's 87 pound payload. It
includes a 14 pound, inflatable satellite, along
with ejection and inflation equiptment, The
balloon satellites' outer skin is made of U
plastic film and aluminum. The satellite is
designed to measure air drag, to determine the
density of the earths atmosphere, on the fringe
of space.
By late afternoon, technicians have corrected the
trouble in the guidance sustem, and at 4:15,
