SNAKE BITE

Last year, Steve Dobbs, a snake handler at
the Forest lark Zoo Herpetarium, won an award
for exceptional safety in handling snakes.

Yesterday, he got snake bit.

He is recuper=

ating at Saint Joseph hospital in Fort Worth.
15 minutes before the pygmy rattler pranged
him in the pinkie, Dobbs had attended     a
safety meeting at the Herpetarium. The subject?
