Fred Hatton, nicknamed "Zope", an abbreviated Spanish
word meaning "buzzard." Behind Zope is the Star Tele-
Gram's Robert Taylor, no relation to the actor. Taylor
is ordering a hamberger, no onions. Police officers,
such as Jack Eagle and Wendell Sowell, often stop by,,
to pick up on the latest jokes, or to volun-
teer a choice bit of information which might make a
story.
