Hi SDWC Members and Friends,
I participated in the executive board meeting of the Texas Stonewall
Democratic Caucus this evening and wanted to give you a quick update
on the meeting and the decisions that were made. The meeting was held
via conference call.
The meeting was called to order at around 5:00pm CDT. The following
14 members were present on the conference call, so there was a
sufficient number of members to have a quorum:
* Dan Graney
* Al Daniels
* Olga Hernandez
* Jesse Garcia
* Lynne Armstrong
* Roberto Flores
* Victor Castillo
* Jay Narey
* Michael Agan
* John McClelland
* Rosemary Galdiano
* Karl-Thomas Musselman
* Rich Bailey
* Jo Terrell
The Treasurer reported that the current balance in the TSDC account is
$8018.36. Q3 membership dues are now due and need to be paid before
the next executive board meeting on November 9th. A motion was made
and passed to allow members who represent groups who paid their Q2
dues, but have not yet paid their Q3 dues, to vote in today's meeting.
There was a discussion and a vote to contribute $3500 to candidate
campaigns. Of the options that were presented, the motion that passed
was to contribute $500 to each of the following 7 candidates'
