BURLESON SEX MESS 1:40 -1-
This quiet trailer park near Burleson, south of
Fort Worth was the scene of a bizarre murder last
44 year old Willis Sanford Couch, who owned
this blood-.shattered house , was slashed
to death by a 17-year-old AWOL army private from
Fort Worth. The slashing followed a beer partyinside the trailer.
Couch died 'some 200
yards from
his trailer. The youth was picked up on the highway
and told him "I think
by the Burleson fire cheif,
I've Just Villed a man."

At the Johnson County Jail in Cleburne, the youth,
Gary L. Windell of 18-04 Lipscomb in Fort Worth,
is taken to Sheriff Earl King's office for further
questioning. He tells the sheriff the dead man
picked him up as he was hitchiking from Cleburne
to Fort Worth.. He says they went to Couchts trailer
