JOBS
Every spring, business and industry send recruiting
teams to the nation's college campuses. And all too
often, in the opinion of Dallas business leaders, home-
grown talent is lured to other cities and other states
by offers of jobs. So in 1965, the Dallas Chamber of
Commerce started "Operation Native Sons and Daughters,"
a two day project which brings together college seniors
and graduate students and employers in the Dallas area.

Today, hundred students attended the re-
cruiting effort at They were interviewed
by nearly two-hundred representatives from 81 Dallas
firms.
Dick Kellar, chairman of the Special Project Committee
of the Chamber of Commerce, says he hopes two hundred
students will find jobs during this year's session.
