Defensive Driving
Course Scheduled
The National Safety Council’s eight-hour
Defensive Driving Course will be offered in
Wharton and Cl Campo according to information
received from Wharton County Junior College,
the local sponsoring agency.
Motorists completing the course will be entitl-
ed to a 10 percent reduction on their automobile
insurance premiums.
Persons wishing to take the course can
register in advance during regular college office
hours or before class on the first night.
Defensive Driving is scheduled Jan. It and 20
from 6-10 p.m. in Room 101A if the WCJC Ad-
ministration Building located at 011 Boling
Highway in Wharton. Those who do not pre-
register should report to the classroom at 5:30
p.m. Jan. IB.
The Defensive Driving Course will be held
Feb. 15 and It from B-10 p.m. in the Ei Campo
High School Science Lecture Hall. A 5:45 p.m,
registration hour is announced by Joy Wind.
Community Education Director at WCJC.
Enrolleea can ore-register at the WCJC Com-
munity Education Department durum regular
collage office hours. Monday through Friday.
