Description

Letter from D. W. Kempner to Thos. L. James discussing the pick up and continuing care for two cows from his farm to Sugar Land until September 1st. Kempner indicates that if the two specified cows are not ready he will accept two other cows as replacement. A handwritten note reads "12th, Credit for feed returned, fresh cows" at the top of the letter.
