Methodist Auxiliary
The Ladies Auxiliary of the Meth-
odist Church met last Tuesday at the
church for their study lesson, “King-
dom and Nations,” Mrs. J. L. Rea
leading.
The “got-to-gether” social last Fri-
day night at the Sunday School rooms
was a most successful affair and pro-
vided much merriment, besides a
nice sum for the Auxiliary. The fea-
ture of the evening was a mock wed-
ding. The names of the contracting
parties are withheld by request as the
wedding had a disastrous ending.
Judging from appearance it was
thought that some of the gentlemen
in the race games would have shown
more speed, but such was not the case.
Refreshments were served to all
present.
