INCOME TAX PAYERS
BOOKKEEPERS AND CLERKS ARE NOT
PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS
The preparation of an income tax return may be fairly
simple, but to compile the correct information and present it
properly, one must have a thorough knowledge of Accounting
and Federal income tax law.
The mere reading of a dime-store tax book and the erection
of a sign in the front yard does not qualify one to impose his
services on the public as a proficient tax advisor.
Consult an established Public Accountant
who has been licensed by the State of Texas
to serve you.

Sweet Potato Slips For Sale
We a*<e bedding several hundred bushels of
good, clean certified potato seed (derived from
Unit 1,) and we will offer them at a reasonable
price to the growers.
Due to the large acreage this year, these plants
will be limited and we urge you to place your
order now to insure delivery on or before May 1.
Orders will be filled in the order in which they
appear on the books.
All orders booked with us until April 15 will be
sold at $2.50 per 1,000. After that date, the price
will be subject to change.
Due to the heavy yield per acre and the high
market on sweet potatoes, we are looking to
Van Zandt County for a bumper crop this year.
The government has a guaranteed price on
sweet potatoes for the next three years. Curing
plants and other facilities are being arranged
to take care of this crop. The more we raise the
better we can sell them, because the big buyers
and shippers will always go where there are
plenty of potatoes.
PLACE YOUR ORDER WITH
Dave Calhoun at Grand Hotel
-OR-
Jim Gautier at Gautier Furniture Co.
