This is a great time of year to think about building your
dream home. And naturally you want the most for your dough.
So you should consider clean-burning propane gas for your
home’s energy needs. Propane is the dream alternative to
electricity because it can warm your house more efficiently.
And propane can cook your meals, dry your clothes, and
heat your pool. And it can do all those things cheaper than
electricity can. So you can stop dreaming,
and put your money where your house is.

Lady Rebels defeated at Area
The Ri vercrest Lady Rebels trav- second to send Ross to third base and
eled to Bonham on Tuesday, April in scoring position. Jamie Daniels
27 to meet Howe at the Area Softball got 2 bases on an error and scored
Championship. Howe drew the home Ross and moved Jones to third. A fly
team advantage and the Lady Rebels and a strike out ended the drive. Score
began at bat with lead off hitter, Joanie 1 -0 Lady Rebels. In the bottom of the
Swarts The Howe catcher got Swarts inning Howe got a runner on from a
' walk. Lady Rebel errors let two run-
ners score before the third out came.
Score 2-1 Howe.
The Lady Rebels had time to score
but in the top of the fifth Joanie Swarts
, who had made base on a hit was
thrown out at third for the final out. In
the bottom of the inning the Lady
Rebels were shook but held on. Katie
Hare went to the mound after Daniels
walked 2 to finish the inning with no
scores.
The Lady Rebels had two more
chances but in the top of the 6th
Joanie Swarts was the only batter to
make base. The Howe ladies had two
batters make base but the Lady Rebels
held firm and ended the inning with
no scores and still trailing 2-1.
The last chance for the Lady Rebels
came at the top of the 7th. Four bat-
ters went up and three were put out
which ended the Lady Rebels hope
for a win. Final 2-1 Howe.
Kim Ross had possibly her best
game of the season for the Lady
Rebels as did Joanie Swarts. Jamie
Daniels did a fine job on the mound
and Katie Hare finished well but
poor hitting from the Lady Rebels
and crucial errors gave Howe the
win. The Lady Rebels can be very
proud of their season, they are the
district and bi-district champions.
Seniors, Katie Hare, Joanie Swarts
and Courntey Jones will be missed
next year.

at first. Katie Hare took a walk and
was left on base. Kim Ross and Erin
Stansell were thrown out at first. In
the bottom ol the inning Jamie Daniels
took the mound for the Lady Rebels.
A lly to Swarts at catcher got one out,
a throw from Swarts to Kim Ross
picked one off at second and a Ross at
short stop to Katie Hare on first got
the final out. Score 0-0.
In the top of the 2nd two Lady
Rebels were thrown out at first. Kim
Ross got a good drop in hit over
second base to make it to first and
then Cheryl Griffin drove to ball hard
at third The Howe third baseman
made a great defensive play to get
Griffin. On the defense the Lady
Rebels got a fly out to Daniels at
pitcher, Ross to Hare got the second
and Rosse to Hare got the third. One
batter had reached base but no score
was made.
In the top of the thrid the Lady
Rebels had one thrown out a first and
two batters flew out. The Howe la-
dies put one batter on from a walk,
Dainels struck one out, a base hit to
center moved the runner to second
and the batter made first. The Lady
Rebels got out cheap as Kim Shirley
picked off the fly to center and Ross
threw the out to first. No scores for
either team.
The 4th inning saw Ross again get
the drop in hit over third base. A fly
out to left field did not kill the inning.

FOOT
NOTES
LEG
LENGTH DISPARITY
Short-leg syndrome refers to an
array of foot, leg, knee and even
low back pains caused by one leg
being shorter than the other.
People are right and left-legged
just as they are right-or-left
handed; usually, the dominant leg
is the longer one. Frequently, the
shortening is not in the thigh or
shinbones, but in the area below
the ankle, caused by a weakness
in the foot. Once the podiatrist di-
agnoses this condition, he or she
can correct the discrepancy with
the use of heel lifts, arch supports,
or other orthotic devices. These
corrective measures most often
provide relief for the long-standing
aches and pains this syndrome
causes. The condition often exists
in the absence of any symptoms.
If you would like to learn more
about leg length discrepancy, the
innovative technology now avail-
able in the practice of podiatry to
treat a full range of foot problems,
or if you have other questions re-
garding the care and treatment of
your feet, we invite you to call us
