Just after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday,
July 29, a 29-year old white female
was walking north in the 500 block of
7th N. W. in Paris. A metallic green 4-
door car with several black males
was driving south on 7th. As the
vehicle passed the woman, one of the
suspects in the car shot the woman in
the face with a BB gun. The woman

EMT programs
to begin in fall
The EMT-Basic and EMT-Inter-
mediate emergency health programs
will begin at PJC this fall.
Both programs will begin Septem-
ber 7 in the Alford Center at PJC.
Classes will meet two nights per
week.
The programs include curriculum
that is required by the Texas Depart-
ment of Health. A college entrance
exam is not required for these
courses.
Enrollment is limited to 15 persons
in each of the programs. Call 782-
