a picture of the engaged
couple and a basket of
fresh miniature violet
chrysanthemums
The serving table was
centered with a crystal
basket of flowers in the
bride’s chosen colors of
violet and purple.
Refreshments included
finger sandwiches with
chicken salad, pimento
cheese and ham salad,
assorted cookies and
punch.
The hostesses gave an
oven-toaster-broiler to
the honoree.

On Friday night, Miss
Balusek was honored
with a miscellaneous
shower in the fellowship
hall of Trinity Lutheran
Church.

Mrs. John Thrash, Teena
Thrash, Laurie Howell,
Mrs. Bobby Bullard Sr.,
Michelle Bullard, Teri

James Petersen.
The registry table held
a picture of the engaged
couple, a violet plumed
pen and the bride’s book.
A candle in a hurricane
lamp encircled by a
violet flower arrange-
ment centered the
refreshment table.
A cake decorated and
designed by Mrs. Bobby
Bullard Jr. was inscribed
with the couple’s names
and wedding date. Other
refreshments included
chips, dips, nuts and
punch.
Michelle Bullard read
a toast to the honoree and
the hostesses gave her a
barbecue grill.
There were approx-

which held the bride’s

A kitchen shower was
given for Miss Balusek
Sunday afternoon in the
home of her aunt in
Wharton, Mrs. Weldon
Ferrell.
Two other aunts of the
future bride, Mrs. Allen
Ferrell of Boling and
Mrs. Curtis Ferrell of
Newgulf were also
hostesses.
Apryl Ferrell, cousin of
the honoree, registered
guests. The registry table
held a picture of the
engaged couple, a plum-
ed pen and a silk flower
arrangement
A silk flower arrange-
ment in violets and
purples also centered the
refreshment table.
Amaretto cookies,
assorted cakes, mints
and nuts were served
with champagne punch.
