coonty, Indiana, elections of last
November, will be arraigned today
before United States District Judge
A. B. Anderson. They are charged
with conspiracy against the Unite!
States government, in an alleged at-
tempt to buy the election for them-
selves. The government charges
that} this, separate conspiracy was
interlocked with the bigger alleged
conspiracy, of ..the democrats and
progressives of the city of Terre
Haute and Vigo county, in which 126
politicians, offic^ holders and . even
judges were indicted last December
by the federal grand jury;
The indictments were returned by
the federal grand * jury early this
xnonth# after a thorough investiga-
tion under the direction of United
States District * Attorney Frank G.
Dailey. It w^s Dailey^s untiring ef-
forts that brought about the confes-
sion of many who were implicated In
the biggei* scandal of the Terre
Haute politcal ring. In that expose

Haute were prominently mentioned,
