DID YOU MISS IT? At the
first meeting of the Howe
PTA the second grade class
marched into the cafetorium
singing a song about the
“Second Grade” to the tune
of “Mickey Mouse Club’’
song. They followed with a
sound-off of their names.
Then they sang several more
songs, including the Howe
School Song with audience
participation. The 59 or so
youngsters from the three
sections of second grade
were nervous about their
appearance before such a
large crowd, but they did a
fine job of entertaining. If
you missed it, you really
missed a good program.
Thanks to the PTA hos-
pitality committee for the
refreshments.
Also thanks to Cub Scouts -
Matt Helms, Thomas Trox-
tell and Jeff Fagala for the
flag ceremony.
DON’T MISS IT! The Howe
PTA will meet again Nov. 11

a Thanksgiving theme. Also

there if you can.
