ketplace called Iil Bits Grocery
is catering to the needs of its
neighborhood
The store which opened Oct 1
carries snack items like chips and
candy but it also carries regular
food like bread and eggs
Busy Gregory owner of Lil' Bits
Grocer' said the store is one that's
convenient but it's not a conve-
nient store
"We're trying to get a little bit of
a lot of different things" Gregory
said
Unlike a convenient store Gre-
gory's store docs not try to gouge
customers' pockctbooks she satd

35 years will be celebrated on the ACU campus
next week
The C S Lewis Centennial Celebration will
begin at 8 p m Monday in the Bean Sprout The
party wall be a combination of readings dra-
matic interpretations and testimonials to the
power of Lewis' writings
Dr Tony Ash professor of Bible will scrv e as
master of ceremonies The celebration is being
sponsored by the Students' Association

fame with his literary works His Chronicles of

Laurie Martinez was faced with
a dilemma many other college stu-
dents encounter - changing her
major
The problem was she did not
know what to change it to She
consulted family and friends for
advice but she still was not sure
what to do
Looking back she said she real-
ized what might have made her
decision easier

or career choices Martinez is glad
to have a place to turn to on cam-
pus "Its good to know there's peo-
ple looking out for you and will-
ing to help )ou on campus no
matter what kind of things )ou're
going through" she said

performing opera scenes at 8 p m
Triday at Cullen Auditorium
The 99 Tall Opera Scenes is a
fruit of an opera workshop where
students given roles and perform
each fall
"Students enroll in this work-
shop and at the end of the semes-
ter they cast in the upper stage"
