set entertained with a Hallowe’en
dance at tha clubhouse, Friday
night.
Garlands of black and orange
streamers were arranged about the
club room, which was Illuminated
by orange tapers In black holders.
The allowe’en motif was further-
ed by pumpkin jac-k-o-muterus
which adorned the mantel and
room corners. Mewlem's O. <3. Hill
and J. II. Trimble presided at the
punch l>owl which centered the re-
freshment table, that was laid
with au orange cloth. Orange tap-
ers burned at each end of the
table.
Gay and sundry tunes from a
nickelodeon furnish'd the music.

IS ANNOUNCED

the marriage of Mias Mary Bltea-
bttrh Youngblood of Amarillo and
Rrueat Frank of Adrian on Sunday,
October 80.
The marriage rite# were conduct-
ed in Vega In the presence of Im-
mediate relatives. Following the
ceremony the couple left for Den-
ver, Colo., and polnta west on a
short wedding trip.
Mrs. Frank la the daughter of
Louis Youngblood of Amarillo. She
has made her home In Adrian with
her slater, Mrs. Karl Reynolds for
the past two mouths.
Mr. Frank Is well known In Old-
ham County. He Is tha proprietor
of the Adrian Mercantile Store and
Hotel. They will live in Adrian.
