Oct. 21. Mr. Roeachley la with the
Scholl Mfg. Co.
In his talk to the students. Mr.
Roeschley brought out several in-
teresting and valuable facts about
the human foot. As s demonstra-
tion, he had with him a Ufe-alse
model of a human toot, by which
he showed the three sections and
four arches of the foot. He also ex-
plained why the human foot was
thus made and the Importance of
tnlrtng care of tha feet.
Mr. Roeschley stressed veny
strongly the necessity of wearing
good fitting shoe*. He also pointed
out to the girls that high heels
were detrimental to the feet, and
that n medium heel waa desirable.
In answering questions, Mr. Roes-
chley stated that going barefoot
was dactdortly helpful to the feet,
and that wearing tennis shoes was
harmful to tho feet.
