Extension Service as “Out-
standing Senior Citisena." The
selection was based' on their
activities and continued contri-
butions to society.
Mrs. Ola Smith. 72, a
resident of Live Oaks keeps
busy making pillow cases, pot
holders, aprons and other items
for gifts Formerly a resident of
Avery, Mrs. Smith has been
living at Live Oaks Convales
cent Home in Clarksville since
1989. She has one son, Edwin
Smith of Cleveland. Texas.
Mrs. Alice McBryde Marsh
of Detroit maintains an active
schedule which includes teach-
ing a Sunday School class at the
Detroit Methodist Church and
is Spiritual Life leader of the
Womans Society there. She still
drives her car and takes others
to church, to vote and to the
doctor's office. Mrs. Marsh is a
member of the Culture Club,
reads, studies and writes and
visits about 21 shut ins each

week. Her current principal
interest is promotion of humane
education movement.
Miss Dewey McCain of
1107 S. Columbia is a retired
school teacher of 48 years.
After retiring she learned
bookbinding and rebinds Bibles
and other books and makes
record books which are mostly
given as gifts.

Committee on Aging.
Mrs. Mandy Parker, orig
inally from Boxelder, lived at
Johntown most of her life. She
is now a resident of Red River
Nursing Home at Bogata. She
pieces quilts and bedspreads,
most of which are given to

WESTMORELAND-BREM ENGAGEMENT AN-
NOUNCED — Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Westmoreland, 4118
Pacific Drive, Richardson, have announced the engagement
of their daughter. Miss Glenda Westmoreland, to Ricky
Martin Brem. son of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Brem, 4503 Marigold
Trail, Mesquite.
Miss Westmoreland's grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. I.
M. Stewart, Weatherford, Texas and Mr. and Mrs. C. F.
Westmoreland, Burleson, Texas. Mr. Brem’s grandparents
are Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Brem, Annona.
Miss Westmoreland will be a 1973 graduate of Berkner
High School in Richardson. Her fiance is a 1972 graduate of
North Mesquite fligh School.
The wedding is planned for June 23 at the First Baptist
Church of Richardson.
ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED - Mr. and Mrs. Bobby
D. Hines, Route 1, Clarksville, announce the engagement
and approaching marriage of their daughter. Debra Jane, to
Billy Dale Wright.
Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Wright of Clarksville are
the parents of the future bridegroom.
The semi-formal ceremony will be performed June 9 at
7:30 p.mv at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of
Clarksville. The Rev. James R. Brown will officiate.
The bride-elect is a 1973 graduate of Clarksville High
School and the groom-to-be is a 1970 graduate of Clarksville
High.
Friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend.

met Thursday, May 10, in the
study hall.
The program was present-

year.
The minutes were read by
secretary Bobbie Ann Brem
and treasurers report was
