THANK YOU
We of the Disabled American Veterans Chp. 89 want to
thank each one of you who stopped by our booth and ate
while at the fair.
* " Some of Our men who live in Lamar County now were
able to do so and talk to old friends and enjoyed themselves
i'Very much. * * * **¥ _. : 1
I am sorry we will not have a booth at the Red River
County Fair again as I was mistaken about who the fair was
for. I thought it was for all Red River County, not just a few.
I was told by one of the Fair Committee the fair was not for
Disabled American Veterans.
Our Chapter 89 covers both Red River and Lamar
Counties. We had a food booth at the Paris Fair and were
very welcome. Next year we hope to see all our friends at
the Paris Fair.
Thank you again,
GENE MOORE
