flow of 2,231,000 cubic feet
of gas daily.
Production was through
perforations at 8,840-52 feet.
Drilled to 9,093 feet,
4H-inch casing was set at
9,090 feet. ^
Location is 1,980 feet
from the south and east lines
of l-16s-27e.
The field has one Morrow
well.
J. C. Bames Oil Co.,
Midland, continued to test at
two Eddy gas discoveries, 13
miles southeast of Carlsbad.

Gas surfaced in 30 minutes
flowing at the above rate and
decreasing to 92,000 cubic
feet daily on the 1 H-hour test
taken at 6,410-735 feet.
Flowing pressure was
212-331 pounds; one-hour
initial shut-in pressure, 1,869
pounds; and 1 H-hour final
shut-in pressure, 2,292
pounds.
It also recovered 150 feet
of drilling mud on a
straddle-packer drillstem test
in the Yeso at 2,980-3,286
feet.
Drilled to 7,100 feet and
plugged back to 6,900 feet,
the project is waiting on
completion unit.
Grace Petroleum Corp.,

Federal, in 25-20s-32e, a
5/8-mile north and the same
distance southwest extension
to Morrow gas production in
the Salt Lake, South
multipay field of Lea County,
23 miles southeast of
Maljamar, flowed 28 hours,

of water, plus gas at the rate
