help by ridding their proper-
ties of anything that holds
standing water, like empty
flowerpots or buckets A

tion is to simply turn such

MOSQUITO ZONES
Roseland boat ramp to close
temporarily today for repairs
The Roseland Park boat
ramp will be temporarily
Closed beginning
Wednesday. June 8, as
needed repairs are made
to the ramp’s parking lot,
Work is expected to last
through Saturday. June
11, and both the ramp and
its adjacent parking lot
will be closed for the
duration of the project.
The ramp is expected to
reopen once work is com-
plete. o
Alternate ramps that
can be used include the
Buddy McBride boat
ramp at Bay land Island
(2642 Business Hwy
146). and the Eddie V
Gray Wetlands Center
boat ramp (1724 Market
St).
City officials estimate
approximately 30 - 40
vehicles utilize the lot and
ramp daily.
