ness' staff said that some
members of the Robert E.
Lee High School Powder
Puff football team
skipped out without pay-
ing their bill about 4:30
p.m.
The restaurant is locat-
ed in the 5000 block of
Garth Road
Copper theft
Someone stole at least
SI.000 worth of copper
lines from air condition-
ing units at an address in
the 6100 block of
Bayway Drive, according
to a Saturday report.
DWI arrest
Police arrested a man in
the 2100 block of James
Bowie Drive about 4:30
a.m. Sunday after lie
apparently ran the vehicle
he was driving into three
parked vehicles. The man
faces charges of driving
while intoxicated and
auto theft, police said.
Burglaries/
thefts
• Someone stole guns,
computer equipment and
some other items from an
apartment in the 2700
block of Ward Road
Sunday.
• Property worth an
estimated $ 1.205 was
reported stolen from a
vehicle while it was
parked in the 3900 block
(ff Traflwodd over the
weekend.
• Items worth approxi-
mately SI00 were stolen
from a vehicle that was
burglarized while it was
parked in the 100 block of
East Murrill Saturday.
• A deep freezer worth
S300 was reported stolen
Saturday from a building
in the 1600 block of Ward.
Road that is owned by the
city of Baytow n
• A gun .worth $800 was
reported stolen from a
vehicle parked at an
apartment complex in the
7500 block of Decker
Drive Saturday.
• Someone burglarized
an apartment in the 1600
block of Garth Road
sometime late Friday or
Saturday, police said.
Loss is unknown.
Assaults
• Police said a woman
was assaulted about 9:30
p.m. Sunday in the 7500
block of Decker Drive.
Her injuries were not.seri-
ous. according to officers
• A man went to jail for
criminal mischief and
offensive contact after an
incident that occurred in
the 600 block of
Littlewood about 1:30
a.m, Monday. A woman at
the scene also went to jail
when police found there
were local warrants out
on her.
74 offenses
Between Saturday and
Monday mornings,
Baytown police wrote 74
offense reports and inves-
tigated incidents that
included nine assaults;
one auto theft; five bur-
glaries of buildings; three
vehicle burglaries; three
criminal mischief cases:
six driving while intoxi-
cated cases: a robbery: 10
theft cases; and seven
miscellaneous cases.
Officers also worked 10
traffic accidents and
reported related injuries
at just one of them.

woman went to jail
Sunday after trying to run
down her ex-girlfriend and
a female companion with a
car. police said
The 18-year-old ex-girl-
friend and the other
woman, who police said is
21 years old. were walking
on Rollingbrook Drive
near Emmett Hutto
Boulevard about 2:40 p.m.
