Folk singers in
AAims tomorrow
night
Eric and Martha Nagler folk
singers and instrumentalists
will be presented by the
association Saturday Nov. 15
at 5:00 p.m. in Minis
Auditorium on the HPU cam-
pus. Admission is by mem-
bership card only. HPU
students admitted by ID card.
A new generation of singers
has brought a style of its own to
today's music. The written
song an expression of inner
personal concerns presented
against a simple background of
traditional instrumentation as
did the minstrels of ancient
days has become the vanguard
format for the "folk" music of
the seventies. Eric and Martha
Nagler are of this generation!
But they are also of the old
drawing deeply from a tradition
inherited by Martha daughter
of Bob and Evelyne Beers.
