"There's no use prolonging
things" an obviously pleased

Monday's workout. "We've
found out what we needed to
know about the defense.
Mayo said the spring work
has produced few surprises.
"We knew the people we
brought in at mid-term could
play. We needed to make sure
the defensive people were
ai'gressive-types. We're
satisfied that they are and now
we're going to take the pads off
and get everybody well."
The injury list includes tackle
Don Kelso linebacker Robert
Morrison quarterbacks Craig

tight end Kim Gray.
