Grimes County. In September, 1954 we expect normal to a little below
normal rainfall through Grimes County, with accumulations of 1 1/2 to
2 1/2 inches for the month. In Fort Bend County rains should total one
half of normal or less for the month. This is a quite similar condi-
tion as in September of last season, or only a little wetter condition
in Fort Bend County,
The bulk of the rain is tentatively expected from showers between
the 3rd to 6th, and, 13th to 17th.
Temperatures are expected to average considerably hotter than
normal during September, 1954, and hotter than in September of last
season in both areas.
