The Final Word
A VIEW FROM THE CLOUDS
Then you shall know the truth and the truth shall set
you free.
-John 8:32 (NIV)
Paula and grandpa had decided to spend the after-
noon at the carnival and take the opportunity to ride on
a hot-air balloon.
As the balloon rose higher and higher into the sky
Paula experienced a view of the town she had lived in
all her life from a different outlook. It seemed so much
different from such a clear and aerial view she said to
her grandpa.
Truth in a sense is a view of sin from the clouds of
God's Word because God's truth has set us free from
the sin we have lived in for so long.
But by His truth that comes from His Word we are
given a clear view of sin and are granted the spirit to
recognize it and resist is so that we now being set free
by the Son will no longer be held captive by it.
So if the Son set you free you will be free indeed.
