In October, the normal rainfall in Fort Bend County is 3 1/2
Inches, and is 3 to 3 1/2 inches in Grimes County. In October, 1955
we expect normal or a little above normal rainfall, with accumula-
tions of 3 1/2 to possibly 5 inches for the month. By comparison,
normal or a little over normal rain was experienced in Fort Bend and
Grimes Counties last October.
The bulk of the rain is tentatively expected somethwere between
the 9th to 14th, and, 25th to 29th.
Temperatures are expected to average moderately to well above nor-
mal during October, 1955, and considerably warmer than with the a lit-
tle above normal average temperatures experienced in both Counties in
October of last season.
Warmest temperatures are tentatively expected from about the 3rd
to 9th, and, 19th to 24th.
Coolest periods are tentatively indicated from about the 10th to
17th, and, 25th to 31st.

In November, the normal rainfall is 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 inches through
most of Fort Bend County, and is 4 to 4 1/2 inches generally through
Grimes County. In November, 1955, we expect below normal rainfall,
