Also, A have _n&.&a the preliminary long-range outlook for January, 1957. In September, the normal rainfall is 3 1/2 to 4 inches in Fort Bend County. In September, 1956 we expect normal to a little above normal rainfall in all districts. There is a small chance for some flash flooding. Most of this rain will occur in late month and early October as part of a few week wet period. This is a little wetter condition than in September of last season, The principal unsettled periods are expected on a few days be- tween the 1st to 4th, and, 15th to 22nd. Temperatures are expected to average moderately above normal in early September, 1956, and a little below normal during late month. This is a considerably cooler condition than in September of last season, Hottest temperatures are expected from about the 7th to 12th, and 24th to 30th, 'with maximum temperatures rising to the 90's on
