The Longhorns won
44-30 over Paint Roek a*
Paint Rock last Friday.
Sept. 26. putting them 2-0
for the season in District
play. Paint Rock came to
Harper with a 3-0 record.
Royce Lumpkins
racked up 219 yards and 5
touchdowns giving him 4
consecutive 200* yard
games.
On offense Jody Lange
carried 15 times for 134
cards and one touchdown
and on defense he inter-
cepted a pass and ran it
hack 58 yards for another
touchdown.
Quarterback, Terry Fritz
made 4-4 totaling 41 passing
yards and resulting in one
touchdown.
Dave Wendele lead the
defense with 6 tackles and
10 assists, Allen Tatsch had
6 tackles and 5 assists,
Royce Lumpkins had 4
tackles and 11 assists and
Jody Lange had 5 tackles
and 6 assists.

Springs there on Sept. 23,
winning 18-0.
Coach Scott Johnson said
everyone played in the
game.
Shawn Spaeth made two
touchdowns, and Kelton
Kramer made one TD.
On Sept. 30 Harper
played Brooksmith there,
winning 26-0.
Glen Wienecke made two
touchdowns and two extra
points. Justin rushed for
another TD and Bobby
Maley returned a punt for
another one.
The next game will be
Oct. 7 in Harper at 6 p.m.
against Cherokee.
