Mullin lost to Paint Rock
and have an 0-3 record so
far but they were open last
week and could be hot you

Harper has an open week,
Oct. 10 and on Oct. 17th
they meet Lohn, there.
This week’s home game
is Parent’s Night and there
will be activities before the
game at 6:30p.m. honoring
the parents.

Thursday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m.
in the school cafetorium.

meeting and stay to help
organize the Fish Fry
planned for October 11.

VICTORY DANCE:
Tuesday, Oct. 7. The
Junior High cheerleaders
are sponsoring a free
victory dance after the only
home game. It will con-
clude 2 hours after the con-
clusion of the football game.

Harper’s soccer teams
are running in the black so
far this fall. In the F
Division, First State
Bank’s team is leading the
division with a 3-0 record
for the season with their
most recent victim being
the Domino Parlor of
Fredericksburg 2-0.
Crenwelge Motors’
Harper Rams are leading
the E division also with a
3-0 record most recently
touting a 5-1 victory over
Wofford Cleaners. The
Harper Telephone
Company Ringers beat
Texas American Bank last
week 4-0 and share a first
place standing in the D
division with two other
teams.
Harper’s undefeated
teams go at it again th is
weekend at Lady Bird
Johnson Park in
Fredericksburg. Tune in
next week for another
exciting installment of
Soccer News.
Harper’s Girls Volleyball
team played LaPryor on
Monday, Sept. 29th at
Utopia. The team lost 15-1
and 15-4.
Their next game will be
in Harper against Lakey on
Oct. 6th at 7p
“This is the first year
these girls have played
volleyball and they are
learning more with each
game.”said coach Bruce.
Boosters to fry
The Harper Athletic
Boosters and Band
Boosters are sponsoring a
fish fry on Saturday, Oct.
11, beginning at 6 p.m. at
the Harper School
Cafetorium.
Plates will be $5 for “All
You Can Eat” and $3 for a
child’s plate (under 12 years
of age, one serving only).
All proceeds will be used to
benefit the athletic and
band programs at Harper
School.
Everyone is invited to
attend.
Dance tonight
AFTER-GAME DANCE:
There will be a dance in the
cafetorium after the Mullin
game on Friday, Oct. 3,
sponsored by the Athletic
Boosters. The dance will
conclude 1 1 to 2 hours
after the conclusion of the
game.
All school rules will be
enforced, plus the
following: If you leave, you
do not re-enter. Students
cannot visit in the parking
lots along the Doss high-
way. Visiting outside the
cafetorium is permitted on
the west side of the
building.
