meeting of the board of trus-
tees of Harper School held
March 14 in the Harper
School Office at 7 p.m. are as
follows:
Call to order by James Col-
well.
Roll call by Levi Elle-
bracht. Present were Dan
Wade Crenwelge, Levi Elle-
bracht, James Colwell, Clif-
ford Wienecke, Garland
Black, Jim Bob Stevens, Lin-
da Steckelberg, Harley H.
Ethridge, superintendent.
Guests present were Mrs.
Pouch and Mrs. Meyer.
Motion No. 83-013 by
Jim Bob Stevens and second-
ed by Garland Black to ap-
prove payment of bills as
presented and $25,000 and
$28,000 plus $519.80 in-
terest to the First State
Bank.
Vote: Ayes 6, Nays 0.
Motion No. 83-014 by
Levi Ellebracht and second-
ed by Jim Bob Stevens that
the Board accept the Resolu-
tion, be it therefore resolved
that the Board of Trustees of
the Harper I.S.D. shall im-
pose the fifteen (15) percent
defrayment cost pursuant to
Section 33.07 of the Proper-
ty Tax Code.
Vote: Ayes 6, Nays 0.
Motion No. 83-015 by
James Colwell and seconded
by Clifford Wienecke that
the Board retain the firm of
Les King for tax collection of
delinquent taxes.

Motion No. 83-016 by
Linda Steckelberg and sec-
onded by Jim Bob Stevens to
place buses No. 17 and No.
18 up for bids, the bids to be
opened April 11 at the next
regular board meeting.

ed by James Colwell that the
Board order a new 36 pas-
senger bus for the 1983-84
school year. The bus is to
have book racks, luggage
rack, power steering and
spare tire.

cept the recommendations
by the textbook committee to
adopt new books.
