The change of presentation
time from 10 p.m. was made
in the hope it would increase
attendance, especially of
those who live within a 100
mile radius of Junction. By
starting earlier, the pageant
will be over by 10 p.m.
allowing travelers to go
home earlier.
The board of directors met
at Isaacks, Friday, Feb. 18,
to make the plans and ap-
point chairmen of the
various pageant committees.
The first practice was a
full rehearsal not a general
meeting, beginning at 7 p.m.

The directors are ap-
pealing to those who had
parts last year plus any oth-
ers who wish to be in the
pageant to be at this first re-
hearsal.
The grounds have been
cleaned, cleared and lights
set up in readiness for the
first rehearsal.

springs, were in Mt. Home,
Tuesday.
Rev. Kelley, Dwain Smith
and Ned Estes were among
those from here to attend
church at Trinity Baptist
Church in Kerrville, Satur-
day night.
Mose Bierschwale, Alice
Mcalla and grandchildren of
Kerrville visited Mrs. Leona
Ellebracht on Saturday.
Ned Estes has had word
that his very good friend,
Mr. Callison, was very ill in
Bay Clift. Yesterday the re-
port was that he was improv-
ing.
Mrs. Jim Priour and some
friends of Ingram were in
town on Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. McNuck of
Junction were in town
Friday.
Mrs. Dickie Grona and
: children were in Kerrville on
Friday.
Mrs. Will Bearden was in
town Tuesday. She had had
word that her mother was ill
and was rushed to the
hospital. We hope she is bet-
ter now.
Fred Klein returned to

Chas. Schreiner IV was in
town Saturday enroute to
the YO Ranch accompanied
by Hellen Groves of Middle
Broock, Virginia. She is the
premier horseman in the
nation. She rides her own
horses in the shows. She and
Gary Kennell of Oak Grove,
Mo., and Dr. Bud Abend-
schien of Reva, Virginia, at-
tended the horse show held
at the new Ag Barn at Kerr-
ville.
Cleve Eden was in town on
Friday. He had been to see
Ralph Leinweber in the hos-
pital in Kerrville. Ralph was
not feeling very well.
Dan Watters was in, bring-
ing some of his friends. They
were here visiting the Kerr-
ville area for. the Exotic
Association meeting. Javier
Ineguey has a hunting ranch
and Spur and Roberto Des-
cesare are hunters from
Lugano, Switzerland. They
are guests of Dan Watters.
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Elle-
bracht were in Fredericks-
burg, Thursday, on business.
Mrs. Clarence St. Clair of
Harper visited Mrs. Leona
Ellebracht on Friday.
With the turkey toms gob-
bling and the budding of
trees, it looks like spring is at
Mountain Home.

decorated with the Meritor-
ious Service Medal at the
University of Northern Colo-
rado, Greeley.
The Meritorious Service
Medal is awarded specifical-
ly for outstanding non-
combat meritorious achieve-
ment or service to the Unit-
ed States.
Schmidt, a student with
the Air Force Institute of
Technology, received a mas-
ter’s degree in 1980 from
the University of Texas,
Austin.
His wife, Judy, is the
daughter of Frederick and
Mary Hopmann of 6367 Kit-
chner Road, San Antonio.
