Miss Lois Dorothy Eaton
and Larry E. Curry ex-
changed wedding vows Nov.
27 at the First United Pres-
byterian Church in Fall
River, Mass.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Eaton of Swanson, Mass.,
are the parents of the bride.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Curry
of 172 Willow, Humble, are
parents of the groom.
The bride is a student
at Boston University.
Curry is a dental techni-
cian at the Boston Navy
yard.
The bride given in mar-
riage by her father wore
an Italian taffeta gown
styled with an empress bo-
lero of re-embroidered
alencon lace etched in Ital-
ian jet beading, featuring
a sculptured bateau neck
line and elbow length
sleeves. A matching lace
headpiece held her silk il-
lusion veil. She carried a
bouquet of white roses and
English ivy centered with
gardenias.
Bridesmaids were maid
of honor Miss Carol Croke,
Miss Elizabeth Olson, Miss
Sally Steger and Miss
Elaine Wishnesky.
They wore floor length
gowns of red velvet. They
each carried cascade ar-
rangements of red carna-
tions, ivy and minature
white Fugi pompoms.
Andy Curry was his
brother’s best man. Ushers
were William Wiland,
Henry Mayhew and Larry
Lund.
Mrs. Eaton wore for her
daughters wedding a green
lace and crepe ensemble
with matching accessories.
The grooms mother chose
beige crepe with matching
accessories. Each wore
corsages of gardenias and
rosebuds.
Soloists were Robert
Deane who sang the Lord’s
Prayer and Kenneth Deane
who played Canto Amoro-
sa on the violin.
Guest were received at
the Pocasset Country Club.
Following the reception the
couple left on a wedding
trip.
They plan to reside at
114 Glenville Ave., Allston.

4-H Clubbers
At County
Council. Meet
Attending the Harris
County 4-H Club council
meeting at the county
courthouse Dec. 5 were
Humble girls 4-H delegate
Jeannine Coleman and vice
president Sue Daniel, Hum-
ble boys 4-H representa-
tives Marlin and Harlan
Keeling.
The 4-H boys and girls
made tree decorations,
strung popcorn ropes and
made pop corn balls.
Carols were sung and
games played.
The local boys and girls
4-H clubs have planned a
joint Christmas party for
Friday, Dec. 18, at a place
to be announced later, Mrs.
Hays Coleman,girls club
sponsor, said.
Forest Cove Garden Club
Sponsors Lighting Contest
A Christmas lighting
contest for homes in Forest
Cove to be sponsored by the
Forest Cove Garden Club
was decided on at the reg-
ular monthly meeting of the
club Dec. 1. All homes in
the area will be judged on
Dec. 14 from 7 until 9 p.m.
Mrs. Sam Williams, club
reporter, announced.
Mrs. Williams said prize
money of $25 for first
place, $10 for second
place and $5 for third place
will be given by the Forest
Cove Development Co.
Honorable mention will re-
ceive a living tree by the
garden club, she said.
Judges for the contest will
be decorator consultants
for Wards and Sears. Mrs.
Walter Douglas is contest
committee chairman.
Mrs. R.L, Culpepper and
Mrs. E.R. Scogin were the
guest speakers at the Dec.
1 meeting. Both are na-
tional garden club judges,
Mrs. Culpepper is vice
president of the Houston
Council of Texas Garden
Clubs. The women gave a
demonstration on making
and arranging Christmas
decorations.
Hostess for the meeting
was Mrs. Donald Newton
of 1420 Walnut Lane. Co-
hostess was Mrs. Graig
Cook.

party Thursday at 10:30
a.m. at the Piccadilly Cafe-
teria at the Northline mall.

ficers is planned. Secret

club announced.

party and turkey dinner of

stration Club will be held
Dec. 16 in the home of Mrs.
