Tbe fare is$4.90 for the round
trip from Hallettsville. The pro-
gram for the general meetings
and section meetings are all good,
and there is a section for every
teacher. Our teachers are prin-
* cipally interested in tbe Kinder-
garten. primary, elementary,
high school, agriculture], history,
science, and county superinten-
dent sections, hut there are eleven
others that they may 'attend.
Teachers may enroll jn advance
by mailing the membership fee
to-the secretary, T. D. Brooks,
Hillsboro, or to Supt Nat Ben-
ton, Corpus Christi; if you do',1
the membership badge and re-
ceipt will be~sent you. If you
should not get to go, you will re-
ceive a report of the proceedings
which is worth much more than
a dollar. Supt. Nat Benton of
k{- Corpus Christi informs me that
he has received 384 advance en-
rollments from counties in our
’ section but only three from La-
vaca county. It is possible that
some of our teachers have sent
their enrollment fee to the secre-
tary instead of Supt. Benton. I
knpw a large number of teachers
intend to go to Corpus Christi
and suggest that they send in
the fee for the advance enroll-
ment and get their badge and re-
ceipt before they go.
, The meetings of the association
will be held Nov. 25, 26, 27.
