Country - Trail which winds

The Hill Country Trail is one of
Ten Texas Travel trains announc-
ed recently by* Gov. John Con-
nolly Tl>e ten trails coyer moat of
the ace rue and historical areas of
the sttte. The HiH iStmntry Trail
includes Llano, the . Highland
Lakes, Austin, San Antonio, on to
Uvalde, Leakey, Rocksprings,
Kerrville, Fredericksburg and
back to Llano.
The esnunittee advised that
Llano County’s part of the trail
have li trail markers ,and . nine
trail arrows to adequately route
travelers through the county, with
the county bearing the cost of the
markers
The markers suggested for
Llano County have been ordered
and should be erected prior to
April 1, officials said. They will
be erected by the District High-
way Engineer at no cost to the
county.
•'The markers, and their place-
.ment, was determined through the
cooperation of 25 District i]igh-
Way, engineers.
The coat of publicizing the trails
will be underwritten by the stat*
through the Travel and Informa
i ion Division Of

Last week we had a good

They were LaVone and Len Pick
of Eatherville, Iowa and we sure
were glad to have .them.
This week we bad an even bet-
ter crowd. The Kleins of Kerr,
yille and the Gnsurds of Austin
Joined us for some good dancing.
Otae held a workshop on the
round-off and peel-off It was
great, confusing fun, believe me
After the dance the club accept-
ed an invitation to my house for
an after party. Chefs Bieleoberg
and Ellis scrambled up some eggs
and delicious ones they were.
There was more dancing to
'roundoff the evening. -
Don't forget, Wednesday, night
at the Ransberger Building in
Greenwood Acres, Lake Shore
Drive, Buchanan Dam, is the dance
for those who want to brush up
pa their dancing It starts at 7:30
and is open to everyone.
Meanwhile, we will be back at
the bank building in Kingsland
Saturday night at 7:30. Visitors
are welcome anytime, so come see
