Congratulations are definitely
in order for an excellent Galleon
production Wayne Dickey and
his staff did some very good work
The Galleon is full of some ex-
cellent poems essays and short
stories
One essav that especially inter-
ested me was Jackie Shield's
"The Last Seven Chances " This
essay deals with the dreaded
disease known as cancer (Jackie
is a very good example of the
well qualified pre-med students
we have at McMurry )
This essay can be of great help
to each of us in alerting us to the
facts concerning cancer
Looks like the parties have
aheady beeun The Freshman
Class has planned a party for class
members Friday night and the
Junioi Class All-School Part is
scheduled for th s Saturday night
(You bettei come and join in the
fun')
No social column would be com-
plete without saying a word of
congiatulations to all the girls
who hooked their man during the
holiday and a word of sympathy
to all the boys who have such
empty pockets
Good luck and loads of happi-
ness to all of j oil'
It is hard to believe that this

Welcome back to the Reservation! If all of you
had as nice a time at home as I did you all had a
wonderful time Funny isn't it how much you
really appreciate home Sometimes we aren't con-
scious of this fact until we have been away for four
months' And Mom's cooking tastes even better
than ever before
semester is so nearly over Just
one week to do those reports and
themes that we have put off for
the past nine weeks Then
cramming for those finals Bet-
ter get on the ball before It's too
late to do any good
This is our last paper to bo

to take this opportunity to say

with you this semester You've

of luck in med-school '
