Peculiar Hallucination.
A story is being related to the ef-
fect that a gentleman is now being
treated at a sanitarium at Lynchburg,
Va., for a pecular hallucination under
which he labors is that he Is a grain
of corn, and that every chicken or oth-
er fowl Is bent on swallowing him. If
he sees a chicken, he Is Immediately
thrown Into convulsions. The cack-
ling of a hen or the crowing of a
rooster has the same effect on him.
Seeing or hearing any fowl that eats
corn produces spasms. Hallucinations
truly take many and peculiar phases.
