The Northwestern Telephone
oompany has told out to the
Southwestern, and although the
buainesi is being conducted by
the Northwestern officials, yet
the Southwestern ie in control.
The demand for improvements
was greater than the Northwest-
ern .oouid handle with its financ
e* and it was deemed best to sell.
A few years ago Dr. W G Mc-
Creiirht started the line in a
small way and kept adding to it
untill the business,' by careful
management, grew to enormus
proportions. The Southwest-
ern will put in the impiovements
contemp ated by the old com-
pany which will con-ist of a cop-
per wire and new poles.
