A P Lyle and another drummer
started for Palo Pinto in a hack.
West of town the hack broke
down and the party returned
here for another vehiole. All at
onoe the drummer with Mr Lyle
changed his mind and deoided to
go to Weatherford. After a
while Mr Lyle missed his pocket
book containing 845, and so firm
was be in the belief that his com-
panion got it that be swore out a
warrant for the man's arrest.
The man was arrested at Weath-
erford and returned here on the
ton train, but the evidence was
