for most of its 1,100 dealers who
wanted them. They finally went

source, the Winldeman Pony
Farm at Lohrville, Iowa.
Last week (March 21) a ship-
kotas — the largest shipment yet.
Previous shipments went to the
•New England area and Mirhigan-
. Ohio.
Since auto dealers usually know
more about gasburners than hay-
l burners, Edsel sent each dealer
two pages of instructions on the
care and feeding of ponies. Deal-
ers had to furnish their? own hay.
They were also advised to check
with local health authorities be-
forebedding down the pony on the
