Lee College library now has
a collection of 20,083 volumes
said Mrs. Mattie Skeete, college
librarian.
During the pa*t year about
1,206 volumes were added.
About 500 books are now on
an order and will probably be
ready for use during the fall
semester said Mrs. Skeete.
The library subscribes to
seven newspapers and 290 peri-
odicals, many of which are pro-
fessional and technical journals.
Of th,ese periodicals 127 are
bound for future reference.
Evelyn Gill will become a
member of the library staff this
year. Other assistants include
Mrs. Ruby Roesler, Mrs, Louise
Whitten, and Mary Ann Taylor.
