Tall red candles and greenery
tied with red satin bows were
featured in the church decorat-

Japanese mums and gladioli.
The center aisle was outlined
with red candles in holders en-
twined with fir and tied with the
bows of red satin ribbon. Bran-
ched candelabra spiraled almost
to the ceiling on either side of th
stained glass window at the rear
of the choir loft. Containers of
white and red blossoms flanked
an open Bible. Candles studded
the chancel rail which was en-
twined with huckleberry.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, wore
a dress of white illusion designed
with a floor-length skirt, long
sleeves and an Empire waist-
line. Lace embroidered in
pearls was used to outline the
neckline, encrust the cummer-
bund and deep cuffs and edge
the cuffs and the mantilla of
silk illusion which swept into a
cathedral train. She carried a
cascade bouquet of orchids,
stephanotis and baby breath.

ten. The bride’s table was laid
with a white nylon cloth skirted
with nylon over white taffeta.
The centerpiece was an arrange-
ment of red carnations and huck-
leberry in a silver container
highlighted with twinkling lights.
The three-tier cake was decorat-
ed with white spun sugar roses
and lily-of-the-valley and topped
with white wedding bells.
The groom’s table was laid
with an avocado green cloth
trimmed with gold braid. The
centerpiece was a cascade of
red blossoms brought from Ha-
waii and boughs of fir in a teak-
wood lazy susan, which the
bride’s brother had brought
from a tour of duty in the Philip-
