Jury, Eleven Chosen
WASHINGTON, April 9—(INS)—
Forty eight men and women passed
through the box in the conspiracy
case of Harry F. Sinclair, millionaire'
oil man, up to noon today without-the
jury being selected. Eleven men
including two negroes are tentatively
selected. The government and defense
each had ufaed seven of their ten per-
emptory challenges. V

the announcement of the marriage of
Miss Lottie Nell Pettus to Lient J.
G. “Dinty” Moore which occurred in
Goliad at eleven o’clock this morn-
ing. The bride is the daughter ot Mr.
and Mrs. Lott Pettus of Goliad and
enjoys a wide popularity not only in
her home town but all over South
Texas; while the groom is a member
of the aviation corps and is station-
ed at Galveston. Lient. and Mrs.
Moore were expected to pass through

Husband Found Dead

Mrs. Clara Nichols 4s held today in
connection with the fatal shooting of
her husband, J. C. Nichols yesterday.

The couple has been married fior

tionment of $5 per capita of the
available school funds based on. 1,-
270,000 scholastics was announced to-
day by Superintendent Marrs. The
apportionment aggregates 18,850,000 veiled this afternoon at a signal troth
