daughters, Mrs. Katherine Mar-
garet Hammett of Lawrence,
Kansas and Miss Mary Lee Kil-
gore of Houston; one great-
grandson, David Neal Ham-
mett; one brother, Claude Dic-
kerson of Ooldthwalte; a num-
ber of nieces, nephews and a
multitude of friends.
He was married to Mlas Mar
aret Graves in 1907 at Ooldth-
Pallbearers were Carlos Pat-
terson. Ben Patterson. Dr. T. C.
Graves, Gene Dickerson, Wil-
lard Mosler and Charlie Bayley.

Mr and Mrs. W. W. Williams
visited Mrs. J. H. Vaughan Mon-
day and took her driving. They
went to Comanche and came
back by and visited Mr. and
Mrs. R. F. Daniel.
Mrs. F. H. Tlemann was a
business visitor at Pottsville
Saturday. While there she
learned of the death of Sam
Boydston Jr. His mother, Mrs.
Sam Boydston Sr., was a former
resident of this community. We
extend our sympathy to bis
loved ones.

W. A. Berry last Wednesday,
which was very much appre-
ciated.

bor and we will miss her. We

We were sorry to hear about
the death of Mrs. Reynolds. My
mother, Mw. Bailey and I went
to the funeral home and stay-
ed a while last night, and then
we went up to the home and
visited with the family
We send our deepest sympa-
thy to the Rey Nole family In
the loss of their mother and
grandmother. May Ood ee with
them In their sorrow.
While we were at the Roy
Wilkins Funeral Home we heard
about the death of Mr. Neal
Dickerson. We are losing so
many of our friends. We extend
our deepest sympathy to the
Dickerson family in their loss.
Last Saturday night my aunt,
Mrs. Will Solomon, passed away
with a heart attack. She was
brought back to Hamilton and
burled at Cottage Hill Ceme-
tery last Monday at 2 o’clock.
My mother, Mrs. Bailey, and
Mrs. Bert Wright attended the
funeral. We send our deepest
sympathy to her children and
grandchildren In their loss.
Mrs. C. M. Head, our neighbor
and good friend, is in the Chil-
dress Clinic and Hospital. I
understand she Is doing okay
and will get to come home to-
day or tomorrow.
Miss Gertrude Head had sur-
gery a few days ago and Is do-
ing better. Mrs. Tom Booker Is
staying with her while she is in
Childress Clinic and Hospital.

funeral home last night. She
said Mr. Rudd had been on the
sick list, but was better.
Nearly everyone out this way
have had bad cold* but ara all
feeling better at this time.
There was church at the Bap-
tist Church Sunday and Sunday
night.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Oreen visit-
ed with Joe last night. I went to
the funeral home and missed
them.

Cold weather last week was
quite a disadvantage to those
who had to keep feed out for
their stock and keep Ice broken
on water tanks. Some windmills
and water pumps were damaged
to the extent repairmen were
kept busy for several days.
Earl Blake came by Saturday
and put up the wood heater
and now we are enjoying the
comforts of a good wood fire.
After spending two weeks
here in the C. H. Black home
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hughes left
Tuesday for their home In Ar-
kansas. While here they went
to Georgetown for their new
car. From there they went on to
Austin for a visit In the Dr. Jack
Turman home. They also visit-
ed In Ooldthwalte with Mr. and
Mrs. Delton Barnett and Mr.
and Mrs Bob Kerby.
Mrs. Bud Conradt of Long
Cove visited Sunday afternoon
with her father, John Harris,
and Mrs Harris.

Conducted Wednesday Morning
Funeral services for Mrs. Bert
Chesser of Mullin were held In
the First Baptist church of
Mullin Wednesday morning,
January 17, at II o’clock. Serv-
ices were conducted by Rev.
Ellis E. Epps, pastor of the
church. Burial was In the
Zephyr Cemetery under the di-
rection of the Roy Wilkins
Funeral Home.
Katy Ellen Chesser was born
September 2, 1888 in Mills
County and passed, away In the
Pioneer Rest Homls In !
Brown-
wood January 15, 1962. She was
a member of the Presbyterian
Church.
On January 26. 1908 she was
married to Bert' F. Chesser at
Mullin.__________________________
Survivors are her husband,
Bert F. Chesser, a number of
nieces, nephews and a host of
friends.
Pallbearers were Clint Henry,
George Ellis, J. D. Baker, How-
ard Chesser, Ernest Chesser and
Rex Williams.
