evening we had an installa-
tion for the officers and the
freshman initiation, Presenta-
tion of Encounter Level certi-
ficates to all girls completing
the requirements.
This week is F. H.A. week.
The schedule is as follows;
Monday — Freshman initia-
tion; Tuesday — W estern day.
W ednesday — Slave day; (all
F. H.A. girls carry F. F.A.
boys books all day); Thursday
— Miss Loud Mouth day; (ca-
n't talk to boys all day); and
Friday — Color day; (red and
white); a nickel will be charg
ed if you don't wear one of:
the colors.

a history of the district's
founding. Another founder
of the district present at the
meeting was J.M. Weinzap-
fel of Muenster.

Boy Scouts and leaders left
Friday afternoon for a week-
end campout at Camp Gray-
son, Lake Texoma.
In spite of freezing temper-
atures, the boys kept busy
hiking, working on advance-
ments, finding fire wood and
cooking their own meals.
Leaders were Scoutmaster,
Jim Sutton and assistants, Ter
ry Congdon and Harold Tay-
lor.
Scouts attending: Bill Holl-
enbeck, Tony Wall, James
Jones, Clark Sutton, Tommy
Wall, Roger Sandman, Tod
Corbin, Jerry Taylor, Glen
Culp, Nick Gray, Shawn Car-
roll, Tracy Goldston, Rickey
Perkins and Kevin Mitchell.
Scouts are now making
plans to attend summer camp
at Camp Grayson. Older Scou
ts are looking forward to a
new camping experience at
Philmont.
Campout held
The Howe Webelos Den
treated their dads to a father-
son campout Friday night.
The W ebelos pitched tents,
competed in games, cut fire-
wood and cooked breakfast.
Various awards were present-
ed to the Webelos at a fire-
side Court of Honor.
Webelos and dads camping
out were: Roy Usery, Chris
Wallace, Jeff Hawkins, Dav-
id Turner, Timmy Breeding,
James Lee Brewer, Mike Ha-
rtley, Eddie W ard, Tony
Sims and Chris Shaffer.
