Spring is upon us and we are
beginning to get back into the swim
of things at the pool. Get your cal-
endars out and pencils ready as
spring comes into full bloom. You
may have already noticed that
spring has brought several changes.
Thanks to the maintenance
department of Odem-Edroy I.S.D.
and the city of Odem's PSG working
together to improve Odem Park we
now have shade at the swimming
pool and soon to follow a water
fountain in the park. Our hats off
to all of you.
Along with spring comes spring
break, that much anticipated stu-
dent holiday. The pool will be open
through the entirety of the break. I
am proud to announce that the
Odem park and aquatic staff is cur-
rent in all their certifications due to
an inservice held March 7.
Our inservice this year included
assistance from the Tri-county EMS.
I would like to take a moment to
thank volunteers Troy Charboneau
and Jason Coons for their assistance
in achieving a great inservice.
The Spring Break schedule will be
as follows:
• Sat., March 13: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
• Sun., March 14: 12:30 p.m. - 7
p.m.
• March 15-20: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
We look forward to having every-
one join us for a swimmingly good
time. If you have any questions
regarding coming events please feel
free to call: 368-9088.
