J.C. WILSON
In memory of my husband, J.
C, Wilson. There was an open
gate at the end of the road,
where you slowly entered alone.
There was an eternal light 1
could not see, when God claimed
you for his own, June 25, 1969.
Beyond that gate you found hap-
piness and rest. It Is confort-
lng to me In my memory of
you, for I know our Heavenly
Father knew best.

son, widow.
IN MEMORIAM
RAYMOND WILLIAMS
in memory ui Raymond Wil-
liams, who passed this life In
September, 1964. Raymond, In
your life It was said that I told
a Ue on you. That Is not true.
Because you said you did not
want to marry me because I
was ragged and I did not keep
myself clean, you did not want
me. You did not want me that’s
all right. I wouldn’t tell a lie
on you or anybody else. For a
man that don’t want me, he can
go his way, telling lies on peo-
ple and get killed. I would not
be that crazy. It was blamed on
me. I am not man crazy. The
Lord knows I know I did not do
that. I wish you lived so we
could clear this up.

(Poem by Mrs. Henrietta V,
Andrews, her friend and mine).
“MY FLOWERS”
“Give me my Flowers now
as I give you yours,
And when I’ve gone beyond
the shore, remember me just as
before;
The things I’ve done that you
like best, my love for you, the
kindness shown and all the good
of me you’ve known.
Forget the things you did not
like—That grieved you, or that
set you back, I too, found ob-
stacles along my way that often
spoiled <* pleasant day. But then
I thought, “To love Is best.”
I’d love you even more, a test.
Remembering all your virtues
true and knowing that you love
me, too.
Should you cross o’er before
I do, I’ll never think of you as
gone, Just merely absent from
the home. I’ll bake a cake, or
make a pie, Perhaps shed a
tear, or even cry. Oh yes, I’d
miss you. Yes Indeed.
But I’d remember then our
love, so gentle and so kind, and
know I have given you your flow-
ers, as you have given me
mine.”
