FLETA THOMAS
Services for Fleta P. Thomas,
84, of Baytown will be held at 2
p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, 1993, at
Earthman Chapel with Dr. Ri-
chard Kleiman of First Presbyte-
rian Church officiating.
Ms. Thomas died Tuesday,
Sept. 21, in a Baytown hospital.
A resident of Baytown since
1924, Ms. Thomas was a
59-year member of First Pre-
sbyterian Church of Baytown.
She was active in local garden
and horticulture clubs in Bay-
town. During World War II she
served as a Red Cross volunteer
nurse and was a former member
of the Jaycecs.
Survivors include her brother-
in-law and his wife, Charley
Neal and Mildred Thomas of
Baytown; chosen daughter,
Kathleen Lemon of La Porte;
chosen grandchildren, Jason Le-
mon, Jerry Lemon Jr. and Toni
Lemon, all of La Porte; nieces,
Earlene Napolean and Sandra
Sylester, both of Houston,
Sundra Martin of Kingsville, Ja-
nice Sartor of Overton and Nan-
nette Rumsey of El Dorado,
Ark.; cousin, Alfred Lee Oglet-
ree of Friendswood; and special
friends, Mary Bums and Martha
Simpson, both of Silsbee.
The family will receive
friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Thursday at Earthman Funeral
Home.
Burial will be at Memory
Gardens in Baytown.
Pallbearers will be Raymond
Tavary, Michael Tavary, Denis
St. John, Charles L. Sykes, Jerry
E. Lemon Sr. and Dale Cantrill.
Arrangements are under the
direction of Earthman Funeral
Home in Baytown.
FALKE
Services for Nancy Beth
Falke, 53, of Leggett will be
held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday,
Sept. 23, 1993, at Navarre
Chapel in Baytown with Norris
Long officiating.
Mrs. Falke died Tuesday,
Sept. 21, in a Lufkin hospital.
Bom in Baytown on Nov. 27,
1939, she was a lifelong resident
of Baytown until moving to
Leggett seven years ago. She
graduated from Robert E. Lee
High School in 1959 and was
active in the Robert E. Lee
Band. Mrs. Falke was a former
receptionist for Jones Chemicals
in Channelview. She was of the
Church of Christ faith.
She was preceded in death by
her parents, E.L. and Bethel Jor-
dan Sr.
Survivors include her hus-
band, Jerry Falke of Leggett;
stepson, Adam Falke of Friends-
wood; brothers, Michael Jordan
and wife Helen of Friendswood
and Earnest L. Jordan Jr. and
wife Mary Sue of McAllen; sis-
ters and their husbands, Velma
and B.T. Ansley of Baytown
and Elane and Wallace Moore
of La Marque; brothers-in-law,
James Falke of Crowley and
Jesse Falke of Pearland; sisters-
in-law, Cheryl Pridgen of Bay-
town, Rita Jones of Pearland and
Marion Womack of Porter;
mother-in-law, Linnie Falke of
Porter, and numerous nieces and
nephews.
The family will receive
friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wed-
nesday, Sept. 22, at Navarre
Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Jones Prairie
Cemetery in Leggett.
Arrangements are under the
direction of Navarre Funeral
Home in Baytown.
BLANCHARD
Private graveside services for
Bertran Bernard Blanchard, 79,
will be held on Saturday, Sept.
25, 1993, in Hockley.
Blanchard died Monday,
Sept. 20, in a Houston hospital.
Survivors include his wife,
Ella Lorene Lloyd Blanchard of
Houston; sons, Ronald B.
Blanchard of Kemah and Do-
nald K. Blanchard of Houston;
daughters and sons-in-law, Kay
and Russell Metreyeon of Bay-
town and Brenda and George
Pulcifer of Friendswood; seven
grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren.
The body of the deceased will
be cremated at Brookside Fun-
eral Home in Houston.
Highlands.
Haas died Tuesday, Sept. 21,
in Houston.
He was a carpenter and was
of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his sons,
Stephen Haas of Highlands and
Russell Haas of Baytown;
daughter, Samantha Liscoum of
Highlands; brother, Thomas Ed-
gar Haas of Pasadena; grand-
children, Ryan Liscoum, Alexis
Liscoum, Brandon Haas and
Jordan Haas of Highlands;
uncle, Fred Haas of Houston;
nephews, Thomas Haas and
Marcus Haas of Pasadena; a
very special friend, Peggy
Parker, and many, many friends.
The family will receive
friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs-
day at Sterling-White Chapel
Funeral Home in Highlands.

Sept. 21, at her residence in
Baytown.
